WATCH AND ACT - SISTERS BEACH - BANKSIA AVE, SERRATA CRES, IRBYS
CIRCUS - SISTERS BEACH - BE AWARE OF EMBER ATTACK
This is a bushfire watch and act message for Sisters Beach -
Banksia Ave, Serrata Cres, Irbys Circus - Sisters Beach.
There is an uncontrolled bushfire at Sisters Beach Road, Sisters
Beach.
This fire is expected to put Sisters Beach - Banksia Ave, Serrata
Cres, Irbys Circus - Sisters Beach at high risk by next 10
minutes.
The fire is travelling North West, towards Banksia Avenue.
Embers, smoke and ash may fall on Sisters Beach - Banksia Ave,
Serrata Cres, Irbys Circus - Sisters Beach and threaten you and
your home before the main fire arrives.
Tasmania Fire Service is attending. Conditions are expected to
worsen.
What to do:
If you have prepared your home and can actively defend it, it
should provide shelter.
If you are going to leave, make sure you have a clear path to a
safer place.
There is an Evacuation Centre at Not established.
If your family has made a bushfire plan, use it now.
If you do not live near Sisters Beach - Banksia Ave, Serrata Cres,
Irbys Circus - Sisters Beach, stay away. The roads could be very
dangerous.
