WATCH AND ACT - BROWNS CREEK ROAD, BAKERS BEACH - IF YOU ARE NOT
PREPARED LEAVE NOW
This is a bushfire watch and act message for Browns Creek Road,
Bakers Beach.
There is an uncontrolled bushfire at Bakers Beach Road,
Harford.
This fire is expected to put Browns Creek Road, Bakers Beach at
high risk within the next 2 hours.
The fire is travelling West, towards Browns Creek Road, Bakers
Beach.
Embers, smoke and ash may fall on Browns Creek Road, Bakers Beach
and threaten you and your home before the main fire arrives.
Tasmania Fire Service, STT and PWS is attending. Conditions are
expected to worsen.
What to do:
If you have prepared your home and can actively defend it, it
should provide shelter.
If you are going to leave, make sure you have a clear path to a
safer place.
There is no evacuation centre in place
If your family has made a bushfire plan, use it now.
If you do not live near Browns Creek Road, Bakers Beach, stay
away. The roads could be very dangerous.
