For people in Mid North and parts of Mount Lofty Ranges, Eastern
Eyre Peninsula, Flinders and Murraylands districts.

Windy about and east of the ranges, easing during the
afternoon.
Weather Situation: A low pressure system and associated trough
over eastern districts will continue to move eastwards.
Strong to gale force northwesterly winds averaging 50-65 km/h with
gusts around 90-100 km/h are possible about the warning area, but
are likely to ease during the afternoon. Winds shifting west to
southwesterly from the west during the afternoon.
Locations which may be affected include Port Augusta, Port Pirie,
Jamestown, Burra, Peterborough, Melrose, Nuriootpa and Quorn.
Winds gusts recorded today have been 98 km/h Mount Crawford at
1230pm, 89 km/h Nuriootpa at 1210pm, 91 km/h at Snowtown at
1244pm.
The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Move vehicles under cover or away from trees;
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while conditions are
severe.
