Windy about and east of the ranges on Thursday.

Weather Situation: A low pressure system and associated trough will move across South Australia on Thursday.

Strong to gale force north to northwesterly winds averaging 50-65 km/h with gusts around 90-100 km/h are forecast to develop about the warning area on Thursday morning. Wind shifting west to southwesterly later in the afternoon and easing.

Locations which may be affected include Victor Harbor, Strathalbyn, Mount Barker, Burra and Jamestown.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Move vehicles under cover or away from trees;
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while conditions are severe.
