For people in parts of Flinders, North West Pastoral and North
East Pastoral districts.

Damaging winds in the north, easing this evening.
Weather Situation: A deep low pressure system centred over the
southern Flinders Ranges is moving eastwards. Strong to gale force
winds are expected over the northern flank of the low during
Thursday.
Damaging winds, averaging 50-65 km/h at times with peak gusts of
90 to 100 km/h, are forecast in the warning area, easing during
Thursday evening.
Sustained gale force winds are most likely over elevated terrain.
Damaging gusts will be mostly associated with showers and
thunderstorms.
Areas of raised dust are also possible.
Locations which may be affected include Roxby Downs, Leigh Creek,
Marree, Hawker, Woomera and Tarcoola.
Severe weather is no longer occurring in the West Coast district
and the warning for this district is CANCELLED.
Thevenard recorded a 93 km/h gust at 5.45 am.
The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Move vehicles under cover or away from trees;
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while conditions are
severe.
