Strong and squally winds.
Weather Situation: A vigorous cold front is moving northeastwards
across the pastoral districts, followed by a strong and squally
southerly change.
A strong and squally southerly change is moving across the
Pastoral districts. Damaging southerly winds averaging 60-70 km/h
with peak gusts of around 90 km/h are forecast with and following
the change over parts of the Northeast Pastoral district early this
evening.
The risk of damaging winds will ease later this evening.
Locations which may be affected include Leigh Creek, Oodnadatta,
Marree, Arkaroola and the area east of Lake Frome.
The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Move vehicles under cover or away from trees;
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while conditions are
severe.
