Severe thunderstorms are developing in southeastern parts.
Weather Situation: Slow moving severe thunderstorms are developing
in southeastern parts of the state in a humid airmass supported by
an upper cut-off low to the west.
Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce damaging winds, heavy
rainfall that may lead to flash flooding and large hailstones over
the next several hours in parts of the Adelaide Metropolitan, Mount
Lofty Ranges, Flinders, Mid North, Riverland and Murraylands
districts. Locations which may be affected include Clare, Gawler,
Jamestown, Waikerie, Burra and Peterborough.
Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may
lead to flash flooding over the next several hours in the Upper
South East and parts of the Riverland and Murraylands districts.
Locations which may be affected include Lameroo, Bordertown,
Karoonda, Keith, Loxton and Coonalpyn.
The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Move cars under cover or away from trees.
* Keep clear of fallen power lines.
* Don't drive, ride or walk through flood water.
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while storms are nearby.
