Thunderstorms are continuing in the east of the state
Weather Situation: A trough over the north and east of the state
is leading to thunderstorm development this afternoon.
Thunderstorms are slow moving in the warning area but slowly moving
east.
Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may
lead to flash flooding and damaging winds in the warning area over
the next several hours. Thunderstorms are forecast to affect
Olary.
Severe thunderstorms are no longer occurring in the Flinders and
North East Pastoral districts and the warning for these districts
is CANCELLED.
The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Move cars under cover or away from trees.
* Keep clear of fallen power lines.
* Don't drive, ride or walk through flood water.
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while storms are nearby.
