Severe storms in the northeast may produce damaging wind gusts. A separate area of severe storms over the North West Pastoral district may produce large hail and damaging winds.

Weather Situation: A trough and cold front are moving rapidly east across South Australia. Instability combined with strong winds aloft will support some severe thunderstorm activity.

Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce damaging winds over the next several hours in parts of the North East Pastoral district. Locations which may be affected include the Strzelecki Track south of Moomba.

Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce damaging winds and large hailstones over the next several hours in parts of the North West Pastoral district. Locations which may be affected include Woomera.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Move cars under cover or away from trees.
* Keep clear of fallen power lines.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while storms are nearby.
