Heavy rainfall continuing about southeastern Queensland coast and
ranges.
Weather Situation:
An upper low moving into southeast Queensland is resulting in
heavy rainfall about the southern Capricornia and northern Wide Bay
and Burnett overnight. Heavy rainfall will become more widespread
and is expected to extend slowly southwards through the Wide Bay
and Burnett to the South East Coast district during the day.
HEAVY RAINFALL which may lead to FLASH FLOODING is occurring about
the southern Capricornia and northern Wide Bay and Burnett
districts and expected to extend southward over southern Wide Bay
and Burnett and parts of the South East Coast and Darling Downs and
Granite Belt districts during Friday. Six-hourly rainfall totals
between 100mm to 160mm are possible.
Locally INTENSE RAINFALL which may lead to DANGEROUS AND
LIFE-THREATENING FLASH FLOODING is possible with thunderstorms. A
separate Severe Thunderstorm Warning will be issued if very
dangerous thunderstorms with intense rainfall are detected.
Heavy rainfall increases the potential for landslides and debris
across roads.

Locations which may be affected include Brisbane, Ipswich,
Toowoomba, Maroochydore, Gympie, Hervey Bay, Maryborough,
Bundaberg, Gladstone, Kingaroy, Caboolture and Gatton.

Mimdale Alert has recorded 125mm in 6 hours to 02.23am
Wonbah Forest Alert has recorded 119mm in 6 hours to 02.30am
Spring Creek Road Alert has recorded 117mm in 6 hours to 07:18pm

forget it.
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.
