Thunderstorms are continuing to develop.
Weather Situation: A trough and associated dryline will continue
to produce thunderstorm activity over southwestern Queensland for
the remainder of the afternoon period and into the evening in a
potent environment supporting high-end severe thunderstorms.
Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce damaging, locally
destructive winds and large, possibly giant hailstones over the
next several hours in parts of the Maranoa and Warrego district.
Locations which may be affected include Charleville and
Wyandra.

Central West, Maranoa and Warrego and Darling Downs and Granite
Belt districts. Locations which may be affected include
Charleville, Cunnamulla, Isisford, Barcaldine, Tambo and
Blackall.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services advises that people
should:
* Move your car under cover or away from trees.
* Secure loose outdoor items.
* Seek shelter, preferably indoors and never under trees.
* Avoid using the telephone during a thunderstorm.
* Beware of fallen trees and powerlines.
