For people in parts of Northern Goldfields and Upper Flinders,
North West, Central West, Channel Country and Maranoa and Warrego
Forecast Districts.

Slow moving clusters of thunderstorms may continue to produce
heavy rainfall over central and southern inland Queensland.
Weather Situation: A warm and humid airmass over the state,
together with an approaching upper trough and monsoon trough is
resulting in severe thunderstorm activity this evening.
Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may
lead to flash flooding in the warning area over the next several
hours. Locations which may be affected include Thargomindah,
Longreach, Winton, Hughenden, Bedourie, Boulia, Urandangi, Ballera
and Stamford.
Severe thunderstorms are no longer occurring in the Herbert and
Lower Burdekin, Central Highlands and Coalfields and Darling Downs
and Granite Belt districts and the warning for these districts is
CANCELLED.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services advises that people
should:
* Never drive, walk or ride through flood waters. If it's flooded,
forget it.
* Seek shelter, preferably indoors and never under trees.
* Avoid using the telephone during a thunderstorm.
* Beware of fallen trees and powerlines.
