and Burnett and Maranoa and Warrego Forecast Districts.

Severe thunderstorms continue across various parts of
Queensland.
Weather Situation: A very moist and unstable airmass extends
across the state ahead of a deepening low over central
Australia.
Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce damaging winds and
heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding over the next
several hours in parts of the North West, Central Highlands and
Coalfields, Central West, Channel Country, Capricornia and Maranoa
and Warrego districts. Locations which may be affected include
Emerald, Clermont, Barcaldine, Springsure, Dajarra and Carnarvon
National Park.
Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce damaging winds, heavy
rainfall that may lead to flash flooding and large hailstones over
the next several hours in parts of the Wide Bay and Burnett
district. Locations which may be affected include Tiaro.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services advises that people
should:
* Move your car under cover or away from trees.
* Secure loose outdoor items.
* Never drive, walk or ride through flood waters. If it's flooded,
forget it.
* Seek shelter, preferably indoors and never under trees.
* Avoid using the telephone during a thunderstorm.
* Beware of fallen trees and powerlines.
