Highlands and Coalfields, Central West, Wide Bay and Burnett,
Maranoa and Warrego and Southeast Coast Forecast Districts.

Severe thunderstorms are occurring over parts of Queensland.
Weather Situation:
A humid and unstable airmass east of an inland trough is producing
thunderstorm activity, enhanced by an upper low resulting in the
potential for severe thunderstorms across inland and southeastern
parts of Queensland this evening.
Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may
lead to flash flooding and damaging winds in the warning area over
the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include
Warwick, Toowoomba, Dalby, Maroochydore, Roma, Clermont, Stanthorpe
and Goondiwindi.
Severe thunderstorms are no longer occurring in the Channel
Country and Capricornia districts and the warning for these
districts is CANCELLED.

87.0mm in 3 hours to 7:19PM at Jondaryan Lagoon
78.0mm in 2 hours to 7:47PM at Mt Mowbullan
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services advises that people
should:
* Move your car under cover or away from trees.
* Secure loose outdoor items.
* Never drive, walk or ride through flood waters. If it's flooded,
forget it.
* Seek shelter, preferably indoors and never under trees.
* Avoid using the telephone during a thunderstorm.
* Beware of fallen trees and powerlines.
