Flood Watch Number: 1
MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE FROM THURSDAY
Showers and thunderstorms are forecast across the Flood Watch area
from Wednesday afternoon.
Rivers and creeks in the region remain wet following recent
significant rainfall and flooding.
Isolated heavy rainfall totals may occur with thunderstorms.
Renewed rises are likely, particularly in creeks and tributaries.
Minor flooding is possible from Thursday. A Flood Warning is
current for the Mary River Catchment.
Catchments likely to be affected include:
Kolan River
Burnett River
Burrum and Cherwell Rivers(Particularly creeks and
tributaries)
