MINOR FLOODING MAY OCCUR ACROSS PARTS OF THE FLOOD WATCH AREA FROM
TUESDAY
A trough in the far west is drawing moisture into western
Queensland. The system is likely to produce widespread showers and
rain areas across the Flood Watch area from late Sunday and
continue into Monday. Isolated thunderstorms are also
possible.
Catchments are generally dry and are expected to respond
slowly.
Minor flooding may occur in some parts, with higher levels
possible where the heaviest rainfall occurrs.
Localised flooding and disruption to transport routes are likely
in areas of heaviest rainfall.

Settlement Creek
Nicholson River
Leichhardt River
Upper Flinders River
Lower Flinders River
Cloncurry River
Paroo River (QLD)
Bulloo River (QLD)
Barcoo River
Thomson River
Cooper Creek
Diamantina River
Georgina River and Eyre Creek
